I’m focused on helping brands make the world a better place through compelling copy.


It’s a noisy world out there, but I’ve found that accuracy and clarity cuts through the cacophony. Whether I’m helping a multi-national brand with their messaging or chasing down that last quote for a story, my goal remains the same: write copy with inspiration and purpose.

My story began when I was hired as the director of a cocktail festival in Los Angeles, building educational programming and writing messaging for the biggest names in spirits. In 2016, I moved back to my native Portland and found a niche telling stories in style, travel and the outdoors. 

A decade later, purpose-driven messaging remains my primary focus. My scope is wide: I’ve worked on just about every type of copywriting and content strategy project imaginable, and I maintain regular bylines at Mansion Global, Costco Connection, InsideHook, NUVO Magazine and Beach Happy Magazine. 

I’ve previously written copy for Pernod Ricard, Diageo, Bacardi, American Express, T. Rowe Price, Mary’s Gone Crackers, several hotel groups, multiple real estate companies and many more. This includes a number of sustainability and impact reports for: Amazon, Ralph Lauren, T-Mobile, Tapestry (Kate Spade New York, Coach and Stuart Weitzman), SRAM, Virgin Voyages, Spirit Airlines and others.

Much of this came to life while I was guiding a major cocktail festival in California, working with the world’s biggest liquor companies. I’ve also successfully negotiated agreements in other industries including media, non-profit and travel.
